Brundby Hotel and Restaurant

Welcome to Brundby Hotel – known as Denmark’s only rockhotel and situated in the village Brundby on Samsø.

When Turid “Guf” Handevold Nielsen saw the old and neglected hotel on Samsø, she fell in love. What used to be the finest hotel on the island was in a terrible shape, but with a lot of hard work every day for 8 months, she turned  the hotel into Denmarks only rockhotel with a cozy and homely atmosphere.

The Hotel

Brundby Hotel has 16 theme-rooms with 5 bathrooms in the hallways. You can also stay in one of the 3 gardenrooms, an idyllic henhouse or in one of the 2 new rooms with private bathrooms. At the top floor you find the suite “Stairway to heaven” that has room for 2-6 people. Above the stage you find the charming apartment “Backstage”. The apartment has its own kitchen, livingroom, diningroom, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, fireplace and a big terresse with a beautiful view.

You can also stay in the “Stable” a big apartment with its own kitchen, bathroom, romantic bedroom and a big livingroom.

In 2010 the hotel took over 5 brand new luxury rooms just 25 meters from the hotel.

The restaurant

Emphasis on Danish dishes made from fresh, local commodities and herbs from own garden. The kitchen prioritize organic ingredients. Try for example the soup, which is Eric Clapton’s favorite, served to him on a holiday in Denmark.

The concerts at Brundby Rockhotel are intimate and famous and a garanties unique experience.
