Charging of electric bikes on Ærø

If you're on a cycling holiday on Ærø and run out of power, you can charge your bike battery at one of the charging stations on the island. Charging is free and 2-4 bikes can charge simultaneously.

The charging stations for bikes can be found at Søbygaard and in the harbour towns of Ærøskøbing, Marstal and Søby, where the stations are set up in the immediate vicinity of the various ferry berths.

Ærø has a long tradition of green transition with great involvement of the local community. This is supported by Ærøfonden, which is behind the initiative to establish charging points for both cars and bicycles - in collaboration with an ambitious network of companies on the island.
