During the Christmas event, you have the unusual opportunity to explore Voergaard Slot at your own pace. Along the way, you can experience the historic rooms and admire the creative and lavish Christmas decorations by Bjarne Als from Bering House of Flowers. The combination of historic surroundings and detailed decorations creates a distinctive festive atmosphere.

Bjarne Als will also be present in a pop-up shop. Twice a day, you can attend his inspirational demonstrations and find ideas for your own Christmas decorations. The demonstrations offer inspiration for combining materials, colours and details to create a personal seasonal look.

Christmas market, food and gift ideas

In the riding hall and around the castle grounds, atmospheric stalls offer delicacies and a selection of Christmas gift ideas. You can browse for a present for someone special or find treats to enjoy during the Christmas holidays.

Your visit can also include traditional seasonal flavours. Enjoy Christmas food or take a break with a glass of gløgg and æbleskiver while taking in the festive atmosphere around the castle.

Christmas at Voergaard takes place on 27–29 November and 4–6 December. The event is open from 10:00 to 16:00 on all days. Voergaard Slot is located at Voergaard 6, 9330 Dronninglund.
