In May 1976, Hirtshals Museum opened its doors as the town’s first museum dedicated to the history of fishing and the harbour.

Since then, the museum has developed with, among other things, summer garden activities and presentations about bjesk and the story of Signe Hansen. We are celebrating this special anniversary with a variety of activities.

Admission is free, but it is necessary to obtain a free ticket in advance through Vendsyssel Historiske Museum.

There will be music in the museum garden, coffee and cake, as well as tastings of fish and bjesk.

Programme

2.00 pm – Hirtshals Museum opens – free admission
2.15 pm – Director Anne Dorthe Holm welcomes guests

Coffee and cake, fish tastings, and bjesk will be served.
