Christmas in the Green Museum

Christmas at The Green Museum once again focuses on the wonderful Christmas traditions of the past 300 years. Experience the Christmases of the 1700s, 1800s, and 1900s through beautifully decorated tableaus. Don't forget to visit the Christmas market on December 2nd and 3rd.

Dive into 300 Years of Christmas History

Learn about how Christmas was celebrated from the 1700s to the 1900s. You can also take a digital Christmas tour called "All-Time Christmas," where the stories expand to tell you more about Christmas trees, festive food, and the animals in the barn.

Visit during one of the Advent weekends and follow your nose to the aroma of baked goods! If you need a hint, head over to the Historical Workshop. For just 20 kr., you can bake and decorate your own gingerbread heart to take home.

Christmas Market

Come to the Christmas market at The Green Museum, where you can explore over 50 charming stalls with arts and crafts, woolen goods, ceramics, woodwork, jewelry, Christmas treats, specialties, and much more.

And, of course, you can indulge in the joys of Christmas, enjoy Christmas music, and share the festive spirit with family.

Amidst the stalls and inspiration, you can delve into the Christmas historical narrative "All-Time Christmas," where you can learn about Christmas over the last 300 years.
