This cycle route leads you along the beaches close to Blokhus, between billowing waves and sandy dunes. Old shipwrecks lie half-buried beneath the sand and the surface of the sea. If you are lucky, you may spot the top of a wreck when the waves wash the sand away for a moment or two. Further inland, the sheep graze in the fields around the small village of Saltum, which has been known in Denmark as ‘Wool Town’ for centuries.
