This cycle route leads you through Denmark’s Thy National Park. You feel the wind blowing in from the North Sea and the sand shifting. You pass wandering dunes that gobble up the dune heathland metre by metre, year by year. You pass the lighthouse that has guided innumerable vessels to safety from the tempestuous sea. And then, like an oasis in the untamed terrain, you spot a little plantation of fruit trees where you can stop and pick fruit to go with your packed lunch.
