Dideriks Veranda
Step inside Dideriks Veranda at Hotel Sandvig Havn – a café and shop overlooking the harbor and Hammerknuden. Locals and visitors meet here all year over coffee, cake and light meals, or while browsing handicrafts, specialties and other finds.

Café life, local encounters and views of Sandvig
Take a seat at Dideriks Veranda at Hotel Sandvig Havn, where a café and shop come together with views of Sandvig Harbor and Hammerknuden. Drop by any time of year for coffee and cake, a sandwich or a cold drink – and browse handicrafts, clothing, accessories, delicacies and specialties from Bornholm while you are here.
Dideriks Veranda aims to be a place where locals and visitors alike feel welcome to stop by. In summer, you can watch life around the harbor or find a seat in the courtyard garden, while the café remains a meeting place in Sandvig throughout the rest of the year.
A place with roots in Sandvig
The name Dideriks Veranda also reflects its local roots. The café is named after Else and Poul Dideriksen, grandparents of Lene from Hotel Sandvig Havn, whose family had lived in Sandvig for several generations. Poul Dideriksen was known locally as “Maler Dideriksen”.
Dideriks Veranda is part of Hotel Sandvig Havn on Strandpromenaden, with an entrance from Stormgade. The café and shop are open all year, and the selection changes regularly with new items, handicrafts and specialties.
