Revet is one of the genuinely good dive sites in Denmark, with rich and varied life. Pay particular attention to the stone reef and the area around the bridge pier.

Fish in these waters

The strong exchange of water in the Great Belt is especially noticeable here and creates good conditions for fish and plants – and it shows. You may encounter ballan wrasse, mullet, garfish, greater weever, cod and many different flatfish, including rarities such as Norwegian topknot. Between the stones you may meet another small, rare fish: the sea snail.

Beware of currents

For your own safety, do not swim more than 50 metres from shore, as the current can change rapidly. Maximum depth along this stretch is 4–6 metres. If you want to venture further out, bring a boat and be an experienced diver.

Diving safety

Always follow the rules of your diving certificate. You are responsible for your own safety.
There may be currents in the Great Belt – strength and direction can vary.
Never dive alone; always dive with at least one buddy.
Use a surface marker buoy.
