Explore nature's autumn at AQUA Akvarium & Dyrepark
From 11 to 19 October, you can get a taste of nature and explore nature's vast larder with AQUA Aquarium & Animal Park in Silkeborg. Here you can join guides on a daily hunt for mushrooms in the forest and help make wild pizzas with herbs and edible insects.
If you prefer something a little quieter, you can also press your very own apple juice, cosy up with snow bread in the campfire hut and carve your very own beetroot lantern, which you can of course take home with you.
Become a friend to the animals
You can also be a zookeeper's helper and help prepare food for the animals and go on a feeding round.
Programme
10:00: AQUA Aquarium and Animal Park opens
10:00: Come and make homemade apple juice and homemade bread. You can also try potato printing or make your own chestnut animal
11:00: Otter feeding
12:00: Feeding the fish
12:20: Trip with nature guide and pizza
13:00: Feeding the wild boars
14:00: Help feed the park's fallow deer
14:15: The creative workshop
15:00: Otter feeding
16:00: Help the animal keepers feed the animals their evening meal before dark
17:00: The park closes
