Every Ascension Day, thousands of locals gather for a festive day of running and shared experiences. Eventyrløbet has become a much-loved tradition in Odense, welcoming everyone from experienced runners to beginners and families. It’s all about enjoying the atmosphere and being part of something together – no matter your pace.

Four routes to suit all ages and levels

With four routes to choose from, there’s something for everyone. Young kids can take part in the 2 km children’s run, while older kids and adults can go for 5 or 10 km. Prefer a walk? There’s also a scenic 5 km walking route. After the race, children aged 0 to 14 will receive a medal and a fun goodie bag.

Much more than just a run

Eventyrløbet is more than a race – it’s a celebration. Once you've crossed the finish line, the fun continues with live entertainment, kids’ activities, esports zones, and more. It’s a great way to spend a holiday outdoors with family and friends.
