Fairytale Nights for the whole family

Fairytale Nights at Clausholm Castle is an atmospheric summer experience for the whole family. On two Wednesdays during the summer holiday, the castle and castle park open for evenings filled with activities, theatre, music and fairytale features.

The event returns after almost 20 years and invites you into a historic castle, where rooms, halls and the park become part of the evening’s experiences.

Explore the castle, park and fairytale hunt

During the evening, you can enjoy activities and entertainment for both children and adults. The evenings will include fairytale features, music, theatre and the fairytale hunt Anna Sophie & the Castle.

You can also explore the castle’s halls and rooms, where lights, music and entertainment help create a special atmosphere. Outside, the castle park invites you for a walk in the historic Baroque garden.

Food and fireworks at the castle

During Fairytale Nights, you can enjoy food from Clausholm while the evening unfolds in and around the castle. Late in the evening, the experience ends with fireworks.

Practical information

• Fairytale Nights takes place on Wednesday 8 July and Wednesday 15 July 2026.
• The event runs from 16:00-23:00.
• Admission gives access to the castle, park and event programme.
• Clausholm Castle and Park are not suitable for wheelchair users or guests with walking difficulties.
• Dogs are welcome on a leash, but not indoors.
• Clausholm Castle is located at Voldum near Hadsten.
