Fiskebrættet i Stubbekøbing

Fiskebrættet is one of the places all the locals know on Falster, and the small combined fishmonger and street food place is loved for their great "shooting stars" (fishplatter) and other delicious fish dishes.

The ferry Ida, which sails between Bogø and Stubbekøbing, is out of service due to a fire on board on Saturday, 26 July 2025.

It is currently unknown when the ferry will resume operation.

Fiskebrættet is located at Stubbekøbing Harbour, tucked away behind the ticket office for the ferry Ida, which sails to Bogø. The small red wooden house offers the best fish in the area, whether you want to buy it to take home for lunch or enjoy it at the harbour.

Fresh homemade fish & chips, fish cakes, smoked salmon, delicious prawn salad and other great fish dishes.

If you eat at the harbour, there are a few covered tables and benches, or you can eat al fresco and enjoy the harbour life and the many cyclists on the ferry.

Fiskebrættet is mainly open during the summer and weekends, so check Facebook for updated opening hours.
