Varied hike from the ice cream house along Føns Beach, through fields and an idyllic village with protected beach houses, opportunity for a swim, and lovely views over the Little Belt.

The route starts at the ice cream house, where you follow Føns Strandvej to the right and continue along the public path via Præsteengen to Ovnhusvej and Fønsvej. You can optionally take a detour to the church and enjoy the view over Fønsvang Lake. Return through the village along Fønsvej, turn right onto Vigen. After about 20 m along the beach, follow a grass path between the protected beach houses to Juul Nielsensvej and Vedbenvej back to the parking area.

The route is varied and includes asphalt, gravel, and grass paths, as well as a short section along the beach. The trail passes fields with grazing cows, through an idyllic village with well-maintained half-timbered houses and old farms. At the beach, charming protected beach houses sit on open grassy areas. At the Little Belt, you can take a dip at the good swimming beach or sit at the tables and benches and enjoy the view, often with kite surfers and windsurfers in the distance.

The map of the route is in the image.
