Every Wednesday in July and August, you can join a free guided walk through Holstebro’s pedestrian street. You’ll be taken on an inspiring journey through the town’s streets, where history can be felt and art comes down to eye level. It is the story of how Holstebro has transformed into the cultural powerhouse it is today. The tour naturally passes the iconic “Maren” and continues through the town centre, while the guide spices the route with both historical facts and quirky anecdotes that usually remain hidden behind the façades.
It’s an ideal summer activity for anyone who wants to feel the town’s soul and discover the hidden details easily overlooked on your own – whether you are a visitor or a local resident.
The tour starts in front of the Old Town Hall, Nørregade 25, at 11:00 and ends at the same place at 12:30.
It is free for everyone, suitable for wheelchair users, and dogs are also welcome.
