At Galleri Rubani you can experience some of the most beautiful pieces of impressionist and modern art in Denmark. Explore the gallery with displays of Rubani’s internationally recognized paintings.
John Rubani was born in 1935 and has been a professional artist for more than 50 years. He has displayed his artworks internationally since the 1970s when he was given permission to paint at the Louvre in Paris. This gave him the opportunity to exhibit his work at Gallery Doddoli in Paris and at Omell Gallery in London.
In Denmark, Rubani is known for his portrait painting of former Prime Minister Anker Jørgensen.
International honor
In 2005, an international jury picked John Rubani to be Denmark’s representative at the world exhibition in Florence. In addition, he was in the top 8 in a field of 190 artists at Art-Nordic, the biggest art exhibition in Scandinavia, in 2014.
