Visit Garderhøjfortet and experience soldier life - in the cramped beds, gym, and signalling office. Garderhøj Fortress invites play and activity for both children and adults and lets you get close to the fortress’s history. Try out the authentic gun turrets and interactive exhibitions and experience what it was like to be a soldier in 1915 when World War I rumbled beyond Denmark’s borders.

Garderhøj Fortress is a historically significant fortress and was an essential part of the defence of Copenhagen more than 100 years ago. Today, it is a museum and experience centre run by Gentofte Municipality. Experimentarium has developed the education centre at Garderhøjfortet, so there are plenty of exhibitions, activities and sensory impressions.
