Gerlevparken – Roses, Tree Collections and Nature Experiences
Gerlevparken is a 10-hectare park and natural area featuring an impressive collection of trees and roses. Visitors can explore fragrant rose gardens, historic varieties and diverse plantings in scenic surroundings where biodiversity and garden heritage meet.

The park includes The Danish Tree Collection with trees and shrubs that naturally migrated to Denmark after the last Ice Age. The collection offers insight into Denmark’s botanical history and showcases the diversity of native flora. The grounds invite peaceful walks among mature trees, open lawns and flowering landscapes.
Exceptional Rose Collections
Gerlevparken is home to approximately 5,500 rose plants, including around 3,000 old, fragrant varieties. A highlight is the complete collection of the renowned ‘Poulsen’ roses, which have played a significant role in Danish rose breeding. During the flowering season, colours and scents create a rich sensory experience.
