Shelter at Trotylsøen
The shelter site at Trotylsøen is located in the southern part of Gludsted Plantage on Hampen Søvej. The site is situated near the small lake Trotylsøen in Gludsted Sande, a planted sand drift area within one of Denmark’s largest plantations.
Here you can spend the night close to woodland, heathland and peaceful nature. The site has three shelters, each accommodating six people, and two of the shelters can be booked.
Outdoor life in Gludsted Plantage
Gludsted Plantage is a large natural area featuring coniferous trees, heathland and bogs. In the area, you can explore Trotylsøen, Isenbjerg, the Stjernen observation tower, Den skæve bane and traces of the Second World War.
The plantation is located close to Hærvejen near Hjøllund, where there is an inn and shopping facilities.
