Round trip by the Limfjord

The hiking route is a 2.2 km long round trip that goes along the Limfjord with beautiful views of the beaches and the coasts of Vesthimmerland on the other side.

The route starts at Fjordvej 64 in Grættrup.

The walking route goes along an old hollow road down to the beach. Here are good opportunities to find fossils and see many different bird species. On the beach there is also a beautiful view over the Limfjord and to Vesthimmerland.

In Grættrup you pass a small memorial garden and memorial stone for Grættrup Church, which was demolished in the 16th century. Approx. 1/4 of the route goes along asphalt road.
