At the very northern tip of Bornholm

Follow the paths across Hammerknuden and let your walk take you all the way to Hammerodde Fyr. Here, the white lighthouse stands close to the coast, surrounded by rocks, sea and open landscape – at Bornholm’s northernmost tip.

The lighthouse was built in the late 19th century to help ships navigate safely past Bornholm’s rocky coast. Today, Hammerodde Fyr is a distinctive stop on the walk around Hammerknuden and a visible reminder of the area’s long history of seafaring and lighthouses.

The walk here is a big part of the experience. The paths across Hammerknuden lead through the open, rocky landscape and along the coast, with the Baltic Sea accompanying you along the way.

Stop by Hammerodde Fyr on your walk, feel the wind from the sea and experience Bornholm’s northern tip up close.
