Henne Beach

Henne Beach is one of the most popular beaches on Denmark's west coast – and for good reason. Here, you will find a wide white sandy beach, the rolling waves of the North Sea, and a spectacular natural landscape of dunes, heathland and forest just behind the beach. The holiday town of Henne Strand is also just a short walk away, offering easy access to shops, restaurants and accommodation.

The beach is known for its fine sand, spacious surroundings and classic North Sea atmosphere, with fresh sea air and sweeping coastal views. There is plenty of room to relax, enjoy walks along the shoreline or spend an active day at the beach. During the summer season, lifeguards are on duty, and facilities such as parking and toilets make it easy to spend the whole day by the sea.

Henne Beach has received the Bathing Point Award, recognising its excellent bathing conditions, high water quality and strong focus on safety. The award makes it easy to choose a beach where both the quality of the bathing water and the overall facilities provide a safe and enjoyable experience on Denmark's North Sea coast. The beach offers toilet facilities, lifesaving equipment and lifeguards during the summer season. An accessible toilet is available, although there is no access ramp to the beach.
