The route takes you through some of the island's most varied natural areas – from the heather hills of Legind to the beaches at Sillerslev and the sweeping coastal meadows at Agerø.

The walk starts and ends in Nykøbing Mors, following the Coastal Route southward through a landscape full of contrasts.

In Legind you move through rolling hills and woodland, where the paths wind between the trees. At Sillerslev the landscape opens up towards the fjord, with the opportunity to take a break at the beach.

At Agerø you encounter some of the Limfjord's most distinctive natural habitats – coastal meadows where sky and water almost merge into one.

From here there are views towards Næssund and the small car ferry, run by a community association – the only one of its kind in Denmark.

On one of the stages, the route crosses the island from side to side, offering a new perspective on the landscape and adding variety to the route.
