Politics and community in the countryside
On Thursday, 5 June, HINE'S FRIENDS invite you to an atmospheric Constitution Day gathering in the park at Hine, just outside Rudkøbing. Here you can meet local and nationally known politicians, listen to inspiring speeches and take part in important discussions about society and democracy.
Experience political speeches and debate close to home
The day's programme includes speeches by Alex Ahrendtsen (DF) and Mai Mercado (K), as well as several local and regional politicians. The eight parties on Langeland will each have their own stand where you can have an informal chat with your elected representatives and hear more about their key issues.
Entertainment for young and old
The Constitution Day event also offers musical entertainment, community singing, a bouncy castle for the children and food stalls with delicious treats. You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket and enjoy lunch in the park – the atmosphere is relaxed and the setting is perfect for a day in good company.
