At Horsens City Camping there are “lodges and lots that fit”, this way, you and your family can camp in the area which best suit your needs. The camping site is divided into skewed and cosy area. This means, that you can camp more secluded, and have more private life and personal space. You feel at home and can enjoy the atmosphere at the site, den beautiful nature and the city of Horsens to its fullest.

A site with a view - This area is especially made for you, who wishes for a view from your caravan or lodge. From here, you can enjoy the view overlooking Horsens Fjord, where you can experience the silence and the reflections of the colours of nature in the fjord, both in the morning and the evening. During the day you can follow the life on the fjord, the boats to and from Horsens, the fishing, the surfers and so on.

A site with peace and quiet - Here, you can turn the pacing all the way down and recharge your batteries. At Horsens City Camping you can get away from the boring chores. Here, you are guaranteed peace and quiet along with other campers who wants the same thing.

A site for children - Here, you are close to the playground, the beach, new friends and not to forget, each other. Here, the children can spend all day on the brand-new playground with their brand-new friends. Here, they can have fun on the jungle gym, the slide, the bouncy pillow, the sand box and all the other things. All the while, the parents can just sit and relax.

Sleep in a cabin or a glamping tent

You can enjoy camping in Horsens at Horsens City Camping without bringing your own caravan. The site offers cosy wooden cabins in a range of sizes for 2–8 people, making it easy to find accommodation in Horsens that suits your needs. The cabins vary in both price and facilities. Some feature fully equipped kitchens, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, TV and a dining area. All cabins come with a private terrace and can also be booked during winter, as they are fitted with electric heating.

If you are looking for a more unique stay, you can try glamping in Denmark at Horsens City Camping. Choose between safari glamping tents (up to 5 people) or classic glamping tents (up to 4 people). All tents include a comfortable living area, a practical kitchen area and separate sleeping quarters with cosy beds. Outside, you will find your own terrace with garden furniture – perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.

Everything is ready for you upon arrival, so you can simply settle in and enjoy a laid-back holiday experience with your family.

The great facilities

At Horsens City Camping, everything is in place for a comfortable stay. Here, you will find all the facilities you could wish for as a camping guest. The site is equipped with two 11 kW charging stations, making it easy to charge your electric car during your stay.

The campsite enjoys a front-row location by a Blue Flag beach - Husodde Beach. And if the Horsens weather does not show its best side, you can head to the large covered and heated pool area, which includes a children’s pool and a water slide.

The service buildings offer excellent kitchen and bathroom facilities. Children even have their own fun and colourful bathrooms.

Two service buildings are located in the western part of the site, featuring plenty of bathrooms for adults as well as dedicated children’s sections with facilities in child-friendly sizes and a Viking theme. Here, children can take a shower in a Viking ship and admire themselves as a Viking while seagulls watch from above.

Children can have hours of fun at the playground with a play tower, bouncy pillow and trampolines. There is also an indoor playroom with games and play equipment. You can enjoy a game of table tennis, play ball games on the sports field or rent mooncars. Throughout spring and summer, a range of activities are organised, such as creative workshops, clown performances and rabbit feeding.

The site also has its own pet rabbit enclosure with sweet and friendly pet rabbits, which children are welcome to pet and help feed.

Miniature golf, SUP, or biking?

At Horsens City Camping you can borrow a bicycle for free and explore the nature or ride on a trip into Downtown Horsens, which is only four kilometers away.

The water in Horsens Fjord is perfect for water activities. You have the opportunity to rent both sea kayaks and SUP-boards in the reception.

And it is almost a must to try den lovely medieval-inspired miniature golf course and take a fun joust with the family.

Bring the dog along

Man’s best friend is of course welcome at Horsens City Camping. At all the different types of sites and in several of the lodges you are allowed to bring your dog, so that the whole family can vacation together – also the four-legged members. On the site there is a larger enclosed dog park, while only a few hundred meters away there is also a public dog park in Elbæk Forest.
