Journey to the Springs (37,2 km)
Along the way, you'll encounter Denmark's third largest village church dating back to the 14th century. To this day, the church organizes an annual pilgrimage to the nearby St. Mads Spring, which you can also pass by, just as you can make a stop at the more well-known Regisse Spring in Frørup. If holy spring water isn't your thing, there's also a vineyard and two breweries on this route.

Ørbæk is a charming small town located southwest of Nyborg. It offers a wealth of experiences: manors and castles, springs and churches, watermills, and Ice Age landscapes. The cycling route Ørbæk Syd ensures you experience it all. If the route is too long, there are several natural spots where you can adapt it to your preferences.
The route starts at "Almas hus" in Ørbæk. Following the route clockwise, you will encounter:
-
Ørbæk Brewery: An organic microbrewery famous for "Fynsk Forår" (Funen Spring).
-
Refsvindinge Church and Village: A typical village with a church from the late 12th century. Visit the restored water pump as well.
-
Lillemølle: A functioning watermill in an idyllic river valley, recently restored and spinning once again.
-
Refsvindinge Brewery: Feel the scent of malt or taste "Ale No. 16" – voted Denmark's best beer several times.

-
Vindinge Church: Denmark's 3rd largest village church, overlooking the Vindinge Stream system. Nearby lies Gammelborg, the predecessor to Nyborg Castle.
-
