Kalvø Badehotel Restaurant on Kalvø in Genner Bay is the island's only restaurant. Here, lunch and dinner menus are served – ranging from fish and meat dishes to vegetarian and child-friendly options.

Enjoy a delicious à la carte dinner or host your next celebration in the historic surroundings at Kalvø. Also keep an eye on the restaurant’s homepage calendar, as in addition to the à la carte menu, Kalvø Badehotel Restaurant often hosts special events such as Christmas jazz, an Irish evening, “biks og bajer,” or a whole spit-roasted pig.
When the annual Kalvø Værftsdag takes place in August, Kalvø Badehotel Restaurant is also responsible for selling grilled sausages and cold drinks.
From the restaurant, you have the most beautiful view over the marina with gently rocking boats and the rich birdlife of Genner Bugt.
After dinner, it is ideal to visit the old shipyard located right next to the restaurant, or take a walk around the island where you can enjoy the peace and rich birdlife.
