Some flavours have a special ability to bring back memories. At Karamel Kompagniet, it all began with an old cookbook from 1894 and memories of a grandmother stirring sugar, butter and cream together in her kitchen in England. That story still lives on in every caramel made today.
Since opening its first shop in Gudhjem in 2004, Karamel Kompagniet has become known for handcrafted caramels where quality, flavour and craftsmanship go hand in hand. The recipes are inspired by proud traditions, while the attention to detail remains the same as it was back then.
Today, Karamel Kompagniet has become one of Bornholm’s most beloved taste experiences. It is about more than just caramels – it is about the joy of giving, sharing and enjoying something made with care and filled with both history and craftsmanship.
