Activities

‘From Sea to Table’

The Kattegat Centre’s “From Sea to Table” concept is a team-building activity that combines gastronomy and collaboration in scenic surroundings. During the workshop, you’ll learn about seafood such as seaweed and mussels and work together to prepare a meal from scratch. Along the way, you’ll gain both practical experience and knowledge from the Kattegat Centre’s guides.

‘A Passion for Seaweed’

Explore the many uses of seaweed through the Kattegat Centre’s ‘A Passion for Seaweed’ programme. You’ll hear talks on the potential of seaweed in areas such as food and the marine environment, and have the chance to sample some seaweed tapas.

Venues

The auditorium

The Kattegat Centre's auditorium can accommodate up to 64 people. Use it for lectures, presentations, line dancing or yoga... Whatever you come up with, films and presentations can be shown on the large cinema screen.

Nautilus

Nautilus is the Kattegat Centre's function room, offering spectacular views of the Kattegat through the large portholes. Invite up to 90 seated people - or even more if tables and chairs are not your thing. From the room there is access to a large roof terrace with views of the blue wave.

The whale shark

Under the large 1:1 whale shark in the heart of the Kattegat Centre, it is possible to seat up to 200 people! Dinner is served with the large tropical sharks on one side and cone sharks, batfish and other tropical oddities on the other. And of course, there's a magnificent view of the Kattegat, where the moon is reflected in the night waves.
