A short distance from central Roskilde, Kattinge offers a traditional Danish village setting. Thatched houses, farm buildings and a village pond form a well-preserved settlement near Kattinge Vig and the landscape of Roskilde Fjord on Zealand.

A quiet stop on your outing

Arrive by bicycle or car and enjoy the houses and the gadekær, or village pond, from the public roads. The water, meadows and Ice Age landscape nearby make it possible to combine the village with an outing in Skjoldungernes Land National Park.

The homes and gardens are private. Respect signs and designated access when continuing into the countryside.
