Kerteminde Frømandsklub

Kerteminde Frømand's club is a traditional club founded in 1969 and a member of the Danish Sports Diving Association.
Kerteminde Frømandsklub, with a starting date back in 1969, is one of the country's oldest of its kind. The long history is probably one of the explanations for the fact that today the club is very well consolidated with all the equipment required for the club to offer its members really good experiences and challenges.- We have a boat - A Limbo 585 with a 70 hp, which is on a trailer. We also offer air and nitrox. The club has approximately 40 members and the most frequent activities are bottle diving and underwater hunting. The activity area is all the way around Hindsholm as well as trips to the Little Belt and of course also interesting places in the Great Belt.In the summer, there are club evenings on Tuesdays and Thursdays, where the participants usually sail out to Romsø or south to Nyborg and do wreck diving. During the winter season, there is a club night on Tuesdays at 18:00 and the swimming pool every Wednesday evening at 20:00.The club is open to all approved divers. The club does not train itself, but collaborates with Funen's Diving Center in Odense. The theory lessons often take place in the club's premises in the marina, just as the teaching diving trips often take place at Kerteminde. It is possible to rent some equipment at the club.
