Colorful yarn with focus on animal welfare and sustainability

Knudegarn opened back in 2012 originally in Lønstrup, but today has address in Løkken. The yarn is organic, Danish produced and of the highest quality with variance in gloss and softness. The sheep that supply the wool are local and graze around Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse, where people call this landscape their home.

When the sheep have been trimmed, the wool is sent to Hjelholt Wool Spinner on Funen. The colors on the yarn come from flowers and plants from the local area, which result in unique color nuances.

The store also has a webshop that you can use on their website.

Every Thursday afternoon from 2.00 to 5.00 PM there is a knitting café.
