Doctor Carl Ottosen founded Skodsborg Bath Sanatorium in 1898. He had studied health and physiotherapy in America, and the sanatorium was recognised for his expertise in the physiotherapeutic field as well as for his preventative efforts with health care and healthy living. An approach that still characterises Kurhotel Skodsborg today, where hotel guests can take advantage of the 120 years of experience in healthy living.
