Let’s meet on an island
The Danish islands of Samsø, Langeland and Ærø offer a setting where tranquillity, nature and local experiences create the space for reflection, personal development and meaningful conversations. The experience begins as soon as you set off on your journey.

The meetings of the future are not about the largest possible conference room or the highest number of participants. They are about presence, new perspectives and strong communities. That is why more and more companies are choosing to meet on an island.
Samsø, Langeland and Ærø offer settings where tranquillity, nature and local experiences create space for reflection, development and meaningful conversations. The experience begins as soon as the journey starts. The pace slows down, everyday life is left behind, and participants arrive with time and attention to spare for one another.
That is why more and more companies are choosing to meet on an island.
Each island has its own character:
- Samsø is centrally located in Denmark and offers the time and tranquillity to spend time together in a different way, where the surroundings invite you to be present, reflect and have good conversations – both indoors and outdoors. There are ferry connections from both Jutland (Hou and Aarhus) and Zealand (Kalundborg).

- Langeland offers rolling hills, open landscapes, coastal stretches and a vibrant island life. Langeland is connected to Funen by a bridge and also has a 45-minute ferry service to Lolland.
Hold your next meeting on Langeland
- Ærø lies in the heart of the South Funen Archipelago and offers breathtaking views, maritime tales, a sense of community and meetings close to nature. From Ærø, there are ferry connections to Als, Funen and Langeland.
Hold your next meeting on Ærø
What these islands have in common is a focus on hospitality, flexible meeting facilities and excellent accommodation options that you’ll remember long after your meetings are over. On these islands, conferences and meetings can be combined with activities, team-building, local culinary experiences, local presentations and outdoor adventures.
The ‘We Meet on an Island’ project is part of the island partnership between Langeland, Samsø and Ærø, which is co-funded by the European Union.
