LINDELY Vingård - A Danish vineyard with a beautiful location and Danish wine by Kolding Fjord

LINDELY operates one of Denmark’s larger and most beautifully situated vineyards, with the aim of producing high-quality Danish wine.

At LINDELY, we have many years of experience growing grapes in Denmark and were among the pioneers when wine production began to gain ground in the country. Our winemaker is therefore one of the more experienced winemakers in Denmark.

The vineyard is set in scenic surroundings by Kolding Fjord. Its location close to the fjord provides good conditions for growing vines in Denmark, as the fjord helps create a mild and sheltered climate.

Across the vineyard’s six hectares, 14,500 vines have been planted, most of them Solaris and Rondo.

Solaris is a white grape variety that is well suited to the Danish climate and produces fresh, aromatic white wines. It is also used for our white ice wine, a sweet and fresh dessert wine.

Rondo is a red grape variety used mainly for the vineyard’s rosé wines, but also for our Danish speciality, red ice wine, which is produced here at LINDELY Vineyard.

In addition to Solaris and Rondo, Pinot Noir is grown as part of an innovative project in Denmark, with the aim of eventually producing Danish sparkling wines in a Champagne style.

Alongside these three main varieties, 22 other grape varieties are grown and used in different blends to add extra character to the wines.

As the Danish climate is relatively cool, LINDELY mainly produces white and rosé wines, as these styles have good conditions in Denmark.

At LINDELY, we have extensive experience in growing grapes and producing Danish wine, and we work continuously to develop our wines and improve their quality.

LINDELY Vineyard produces several types of wine, including white wine, red wine, rosé, ice wine and sparkling wine. Grape juice is also distilled into Danish brandy, which is matured in old wooden barrels previously used for ageing our red wines.
