Strynø’s annual literature festival in the countryside, “LITERATURE FOR ALL AGES”, will take place again this year – for the sixth year running – during the first weekend of the summer holidays. This year, that means: 26–28 June 2026
At Strynø’s midsummer festival, you can meet your favourite author – or be inspired by a new one! – up close, with views of the sea and the island. The authors will read from their works and engage in dialogue with the audience beneath an ancient tree, in a blooming garden, on a swaying jetty, or around the campfire on the campsite in the evening, where professionals skilled in the art of oral storytelling will also recount captivating tales from the archipelago. All in the familiar relaxed, intimate and unpretentious style of the “Strynø Literary Society”.
Strynø is just a 30-minute ferry ride from Rudkøbing and always worth a visit for the whole family – but especially in the midsummer sun, and in such good company as this weekend.
