Hiking: The Marguerite Route, Brønderslev

The Marguerite Route is a special Danish tourist route that goes through all of Denmark, except for Bornholm and the islands in the Kattegat. The route is continuous and does not go by the same place twice.

The Marguerite Route is a long and distinctively marked tourist route that is characterized by the brown signs with the white/yellow marguerite flower. The route is 3,500 km long and runs through all of Denmark, past 200 of the greatest sights and attractions, and through some of the most scenic landscapes in Denmark.

The Marguerite Route also runs through the district of Brønderslev.

The Danish Nature Agency has developed a free app for the route, which provides you with detailed information about cultural treasures and possibilities for outdoor activities along the route. The App only comes in Danish, but contains, among other features, a great map of the route.

Naturstyrelsen (Danish Nature Agency) has developed a free app for the route, which provides you with detailed information about cultural treasures and possibilities for outdoor activities along the route. The App only comes in Danish, but contains, among other features, a great map of the route. You can download it for free in AppStore for iPhones.
