Middelalderlandsbyen (The medieval village) is a collection of reconstructed houses with animal husbandry from 1350. The place is the ideal starting point for a historically educational day - whether you come as a school class or on a day with your family.

Middelalderlandsbyen is a vibrant part of Brøndby Kommune and is run daily by volunteers. Go visit the place when it’s time for their anual spring market or celebrate the Danish summer tradition of St. Hans Day - and experience how they used to sow, build and sew.

Follow them on social media to find out when the next event will occur.

In addition to the houses of the village, there is a shelter site — five shelters with room for about 30 people and access to toilet facilities. You can book the shelter site if you live in Brøndby. Booking is done via the Middelalderlandsbyen website.
