Molevitten

Welcome to Molevitten on Samsø!

Molevitten is Samsø’s bar and live venue located in Ballen, where guests and locals meet for great food, a cold draft beer, a game of pool, and a sense of community – all year round with a changing menu.

At Molevitten, you can enjoy events throughout the year such as music quizzes, concerts, flea markets, sports on the big screen, and much more. Especially during the summer season, Molevitten offers live music featuring a wide range of both Danish and international artists.

In 2024, Molevitten received the Business Award from Samsø Municipality in recognition of its contribution to the local community.

Low Season

Primarily the last and first weekend of the month* Friday and Saturday from 17:00–23:00 (kitchen: 17:30–20:30)

Note: Molevitten is also open during the weekend in week 7 (the winter holidays).

Open on the following weekends until Easter 2026:

• 23–24 January (note: kitchen closed on Saturday due to private event)
• 30–31 January
• 06–07 February
• 27–28 February
• 06–07 March
• 27–28 March

High Season
Every day from 16:00 until 02:00 at the latest (kitchen: 17:30–20:30)
