Fresh Fish and Delicacies

In the small village of Egens Havhuse, you will find Mols Smokehouse, where you can enjoy fresh fish and homemade delicacies in a cozy atmosphere. Take a seat at one of the ten outdoor picnic tables and enjoy your packed lunch – perhaps with a few extra treats from the shop. From here, you have a wonderful view of Kalø Castle Ruin, located just a few hundred meters away.

Fresh Ingredients and Family Recipe

The shop offers a wide selection of fresh fish and shellfish from Danish fish auctions, salmon from the Faroe Islands and Denmark, and hand-peeled shrimp. Delicacies like remoulade, salads, plaice fillets, and fish cakes are made from scratch according to the family recipe from 1985 – always using genuine, high-quality ingredients.
