Are you going to the beach? The child-friendly Mørkholt Beach is located in a popular holiday home and camping area between Vejle and Fredericia. Here you will also find Hvidbjerg Beach and Høll Beach a short distance away.

Mørkholt has two types of beaches: a fine sandy beach and a more rocky beach with shelter from the sharp sun.

Two types of beaches

Furthest north, towards Vejle, is the protected area Vognkær Enge as well as the natural gem, Little Africa. In this part, you will find the fine sandy beach with a bathing jetty, benches, and two campsites. The area is peaceful and has beautiful nature with trails and a shelter.

Further south is Mørkholt Hage, which has a bathing jetty and a sheltered corner with four table-bench sets and a grill. The beach here is quite rocky. This area is more built-up.

More about the area

The national cycle route no. 5, the East Coast Route, passes through the area.

Bus no. 350 runs close to Mørkholt Beach and to Brejning and Børkop.
