What can I experience right near Næstved City?

If you feel like a short change of scenery from the pedestrian streets, you won’t have to go far. Close by you’ll find Grønnegades Kaserne Kulturcenter, a cultural meeting point with stages, exhibitions and creative spaces.

For fresh air, Næstved Harbour is also nearby. From here you can step on board M/S Friheden for a calm boat trip – and the route can take you past sights such as Gavnø Castle.

On the way, take a walk along the Næstved Havnepromenade Sculpture Park. The roughly 1.2 km stretch by the canal turns into an easy stroll with sculptures as small stop-and-look moments.

Back in the city centre, you’ll spot more small discoveries in the streetscape too – including sculptures and street art tucked between the lanes.
