Great artists at NorthSide

NorthSide is an annual music festival for young music lovers. For a long time, Aarhus lacked an event that could attract international artists and thus offer the many young people of Aarhus an alternative to other festivals in Denmark.

At the NorthSide festival in 2026, you can experience names such as Aphaca, Empire of The Sun, Idles, Jack White, Skepta, Thomas Helmig, Tobias Rahim - and many, many more.

More than a music festival

Experience the spectacular Sideshow, where cabaret, sword swallowing and Silent Disco go hand in hand, spoil yourself with the 100% organic and irresistible food selection, which lures anyone to indulge, or explore the site’s many small nooks. NorthSide guarantees a program packed with unforgettable experiences.

NorthSide works with a range of environmental initiatives. Since 2022, the festival has run on electricity from the grid instead of diesel generators. NorthSide has also replaced single-use plastic cups with reusable cups and has annual CO2 analyses carried out to measure the festival’s emissions.

Practical information

• NorthSide takes place at the festival site in Eskelunden, which is just a stone's throw from the Aarhus River and right in the backyard of the City of Smiles, Aarhus.
• Please also note that it is not possible to stay overnight at the festival. See where you can stay overnight in Aarhus during the festival here.
• There are good parking facilities for bikes, but it is not possible to park your car at Eskelunden.
• Disabled parking is available
