Petruska is busy in her bakery when a circus director orders a heart-shaped honey cake.

This marks the beginning of a delightful Christmas tale, brown and burnt, about a cheerful baker and her affectionate cake customer, a hungry circus rat caught helping itself, and, not least, a little Christmas elf's miracles.

Petruskas Julehjerte is a heartwarming and magical puppet show seasoned with lovely music, a generous tablespoon of offbeat humor and, above all, plenty of Christmas spirit.

For children ages 3–8 and their accompanying adults.

The performance takes place at Esbjerg Main Library, Nørregade 19, Esbjerg, on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:10 a.m.

Tickets are free.
