Restaurant Mitchell's

Mitchell’s has its roots in the British pub traditions that owner Daniel Mitchell grew up with. That original foundation is still evident, but over time the restaurant has evolved into a place where classic pub culture meets a more ambitious culinary approach.

Today, Mitchell’s brings together the informal and the refined. The atmosphere is relaxed, yet there is a clear and conscious focus on quality, craftsmanship and the overall dining experience. The restaurant provides the perfect setting for weekday dinners, special occasions and evenings centred around great food and drink.

A kitchen shaped by the seasons and local partnerships

The kitchen is rooted in local produce and inspired by what the season has to offer. The menu changes regularly and is built on close collaborations with producers from Funen, including honey, cider, vegetables and speciality ingredients.

British references remain part of the dishes, often reinterpreted in a modern way. At the same time, the menu reflects the restaurant’s development towards a more culinary-driven direction. At weekends, brunch is a regular highlight and a social gathering point, while the à la carte menu allows for a deeper exploration of ingredients and preparation.

A shared passion for drinks

Drinks play a central role at Mitchell’s. The selection of wine, beer and especially cider is carefully curated with a focus on quality and origin, and the restaurant works closely with specialised producers and suppliers. The ambition is to present a range that stands out from the usual offerings in Odense.

Mitchell’s is also the organiser of Odense Cider Festival, held every year in September. The festival brings together cider producers and enthusiasts from Denmark and across Europe, highlighting craftsmanship, flavour and professional exchange.
