Riberhus Slotsbanke - here lay RIberhus Castle
Riberhus Castle was located on Slotsbanken in Ribe, today only a ruin and a bronze statue of Queen Dagmar remain. Queen Dagmar lived at the castle in the early 13th century.

A restoration of the ruins at Slotsbanken was carried out in 1940-1941, where the moats were cleaned up so that they are again filled with water. The Slotsbanken was brought back to its original appearance, about 8 meters high and an area of 90x90 meters. The building you can see the remains of is the writing room.
