As you leave Kerteminde and head south toward Nyborg, Risinge Hoved becomes clearly visible after just a few kilometers. This striking point marks the southern end of Kerteminde Bay. You don’t need years of sea trout experience to know that a rocky headland like this is always worth a visit.

Park along the roadside where the road veers away from the coast, and start fishing right below your car near the small green houses. The bay from here and about 300 meters out toward the point is a reliable spring spot. The deeper water around Risinge Hoved itself fishes best in summer and autumn – and it’s also a place where large, sea-run rainbow trout are often caught during the spring months.
