A rock festival with room for everyone

Rock & Rul is a non-profit festival in Aarhus that brings people together regardless of gender, age or ability. Under the Ringgadebroen bridge in Aarhus C, you can experience a classic rock and metal festival with two outdoor stages and an international line-up.

The festival presents more than 20 bands from Denmark and abroad across genres such as rock, metal, alternative, hardcore and electronic music. The line-up is being announced on an ongoing basis, and the full programme is expected to be ready in early May.

Accessibility at the heart of the festival

Rock & Rul has a clear goal: to make cultural life more accessible to everyone – including people with visible and invisible disabilities. Accessibility has been built into the entire festival experience.

Among other things, you can expect:

  • Well-designed access routes to the stages
  • Accessible toilet facilities
  • Quiet rest areas
  • Clear and inclusive information during the festival

The festival highlights the need for better accessibility and representation in cultural life in Denmark and works actively to create a more inclusive setting for community and musical experiences.

Music, community and diversity

Rock & Rul is more than just a music festival. It is a gathering place where community and diversity take centre stage. Here, people from all walks of life come together around a shared interest in music and experiences.

The programme will be updated regularly on the Rock & Rul website.

The festival’s location beneath the Ringgadebroen bridge creates a raw and authentic setting that enhances the atmosphere and energy of both the bands and the audience.
