Just outside the shelter site runs the Hallund stream, which meanders delightfully through the landscape. There are three bridges over the stream, which are connected to the nature trail - Rundenomstien. The path goes around sports fields, which are usable for sports and games. The path also connects to "Brunkulslejerne" with a beautiful path.
