Sjællands Teater – Zealand's Regional Theatre

Sjællands Teater is one of Denmark's largest regional theatres, staging performances for children, young people and adults alike. The theatre has stages in West Zealand, with Slagelse Teater in Slagelse and the former Holbæk Teater and Teatret Fair Play in Holbæk.

The programme offers a wide range of theatre, from classics and new Danish drama to music and shows for the very youngest. The theatre also has a children's and youth department that tours across the whole country.

Slagelse Teater is centrally located in Slagelse in historic surroundings, while the two stages in Holbæk lie close to the town centre. Whichever stage you visit, atmospheric theatre experiences await you in the heart of West Zealand.

Sjællands Teater is an independent institution and covers a large part of Zealand with performances all year round for the whole family.
